Running roof air on TH using a portable gen while driving?

Is there any reason you can't run a roof air with a portable generator while driving? The generator would be in the bed of my pick-up. The reason - I have an big old dog that can't really ride in th...

I plan to run the generator on propane while driving thus minimizing any carbon monoxide risks. I would think that with the bed cover open ( I have a roll-up type hard cover ) while driving the risk would be low.
