rv camping in Canada, different than camping in the US?

Yes, many provincial parks are laid out with 1 electrical post shared between 2 sites. It is not uncommon to be 100+ feet from the post. That's the cost of privacy, which I find you get more of than in US parks we've been to. Most parks have loaner cords for those that need one. No charge, just a refundable deposit. I always carry a 50' and two 25' extensions on top of the tt cord and have used them all more than once.
