Hi,
The shared pedestal and long cord runs are untrue in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

In Saskatchewan the majority power is produced by SaskPower. Only Saskatoon and Swift Current have "reseller" power companies, They do not generate power themselves, so far as I am aware.

Yes, many provincial parks are laid out with 1 electrical post shared between 2 sites. It is not uncommon to be 100+ feet from the post.
