Does anyone have a good location where us new people can find a single source for RV construction methods? I've read a few articles and watched some videos by various RV builders. I know that in the end one has to decide for themselves what is important. I was hoping to find a trusted source that compares the pros and cons of each method.

I've found no single reference, and visiting five different manufacturers was enough to teach me that there are at least five different approaches to construction.

Note the all welded steel unibody construction. This is the main reason I selected Rexhall - seems to me (a non-engineer) to be a better choice than wood and thin aluminum framework for the base of a motorhome.

Well........ personally I would prefer one built like a tank

light as a feather

and cheap as a cup of coffee

The best way to see differences is to go to plant tours. You'll see that some are stapled together and the other extreme is fine craftsmanship. A good base is to go to dealers and look at how the drawers are constructed and if the cabinets are wood or paper look-alike. Good luck!

I wonder why isn't anyone building RVs or even car bodies from the good old weed aka hemp
