I would agree completely with this statement. We subscribed to Motorhome magazine for a couple years. Between YouTube and this message board though, the same info is available for free and I don't have to keep a stack of magazines lying around; just keep a bunch of bookmarks.

- NoVa_RTExplorerIf you like magazines, Motorhome isn't bad, IMHO, although I don't really disagree with Effy's observations in the 2nd post, other than being a bit high on the amount of affiliated advertising. It provides some info on places to go or stay, different types of RVs & related accessories. There are other ways to get that type of information, but it's convenient.

Highly recommended. It's written by RVers with very little advertising compared to the others. - 2oldmanExplorer IIEscapees

I used to get Motorhome magazine and it was fun for a while. But then it seems like it was a little different spin on the same thing every month. It also started to occur to me that 95% of the mag was an advertisement for CW and GS.
That's because it's owned by GS and last year they combined their catalog with the magazine. But I doubt if it's 95%.
I not only get Motorhome Magazine but also the FMCA magazine. Both have lots of good info on new equipment, repairs, problems others have had, appreciation of good rv parks/repair shops and stories of places to visit.
I look forward to getting both each month.
Ron - BB_TXNomadI take Trailer Life, have for a number of years, and find it ok. But is starting to get old as it all seems to be a repeated variation of older issues. And some of the tech info/advice seems questionable, at least to me.
- BarneySExplorer IIII get Trailer Life, and RV Business. You can go to RV Business and possibly sign up for the trade publication. Also at that website you can subscribe to their daily e-mail which has some interesting information.
Yes, CW stands for Camping World and GS stands for Good Sam Club. :)

Thank you! Is CW Camping World? What's GS? Sorry, I'm new :) - jarata1ExplorerTrailer life is good
