RV Sayings
I'm still a relative newcomer to the RV world, having only 1 year, 52 nights, and 6000 miles under my belt. This weekend, my neighbor and I (we both bought our Coleman TTs within a month of each other, then upgraded to our Cougar 5th wheels at the same time) were at our local getaway RV park when a brand new Jayco TT pulled in next to us. The proud new owner told us this was his second night in the camper (the dealership let him spend 1 night on their lot to "practice"). Watching him struggle with the sewer lines, scissor jacks, and wheel chocks, we got to reminiscing about all the stuff we've learned over the past year. The advice we have gained from this forum has been invaluable, but we were coming up with easy to remember axioms we could use to describe RV life. Examples included:
If you park it, chock it. (self-explanatory)
300 miles or 3:30 PM. (useful when planning a trip)
Any other pithy little sayings you use that you would share?
