More $.02
Don't let a dealer push you into something. When we made the deal with someone other than the "Local" dealer, I sent a polite email telling him we had decided to go with someone else with a much better deal. The local guy called within just a couple minutes trying to salvage the sale. He asked what the other guy was offering, and I told him for EXACTLY the same thing including the finance interest rate, the bottom line was more than $2k less. He started asking if I had considered how much it would cost to drive out and pic it up. When I told him that I had figured everything down to the penny and he was still $2k higher, he started telling me about preferred treatment for "Their customers" if I had warranty repairs. He came off that pretty quickly when I asked what KZ had to say about authorized service centers performing warranty repairs.
Some will say some pretty stupid stuff to make a sale. Needless to say I'm pretty reluctant to spend any of my $$ at this local dealer simply because of one salesman's tactics. Had he just said, "Good luck with your purchase. We're also an authorized service center should something need repairs." They would have been much more likely to get my business in the future.
I had the exact opposite experience with my local dealer.
Found my unit $2k cheaper and was on the lot. My local dealer was $2k more and had to order it in. I called and told them, and they said they understood completely. They said they were an authorized Keystone dealer and would do any warranty work without any problems. They were very nice, and helpful.
