One of my close friends rode her motorcycle around the country and wrote a book about her experience. By the way it wasn't some decked out luxury touring bike but a 500cc sport bike. Anyways she camped out from SPs, NF, or just pulled off the side of the road. In the thousands of miles she traveled she only had a couple of creepy experiences. As others have said, "if it doesn't feel right move on". By far most of the time people were so fascinated in a women traveling alone and her story that she was welcomed into there lives for the short time she was around them.
