Scooters
I've seen many posts talking about the cars that people tow. I was thinking of getting a hitch carrier and using a scooter to get around. Opinions? Good idea? Bad idea?

I carry a 1986 Honda Spree and have never had a problem. Not sure how a campground can ban a licensed, insured, street legal scooter. State Parks can require a separate vehicle sticker. I've never been bothered by police because states pretty much have reciprocity with other states.
One of the larger campgrounds in Myrtle Beach will not allow gas Scooters, or Motorcycles. They must be "stored/ parked" just inside the main gate. In a 300 acre campground would be a long walk to your site. Their property they can make their own rules.
I don't get any joy at all from hearing a Harley, or similar, motorcycle rumbling around a CG so I would support any CG from doing so.
The gas scooters most of us are talking about here are extremely quiet & don't deserve to be penalized like the noisy motorcycles.
