sewer hook ups

Fittings are fairly standard (maybe). We have a 15 foot hose and an extra 10 footer as an extension if needed.

Unless you are camping on the moon...sewer hose stuff is pretty much available everywhere if you find you don't have what you need.

Some campgrounds (county ordinances)require that the hose be able to be sealed where it connects to the camp sewer pipe...

Have a good trip. The sewer thing is all part of the adventure.

I would suggest getting a Rhino Flex set up. They come in different sets. Many locales require a tight fit into the sewer system.
Many Walmart have a standard 15 foot set. They are available on Amazon as well.
You will be much happier not having to deal with sewer issues on the road.
Rhino flex

Like most hoses supplied in the starter kits, if it does not have connectors on each end like this picture do yourself a favor and get one before you leave home.

ditto on the Rhinoflex system! almost always 15' is enough but you want to have another 10' add on section if needed.

Hoses supplied with new RVs are often inferior. If that is the case with yours, you will never be sorry for upgrading your sewer kit. Get the Rhino Flex set up mentioned above.

I'd look up You Tube videos for things like that.
Get a potable water hose. Use it only for sinking water.
Get a coiled spray hose to rinse the sewer hose out.
Pressure regulator for fresh water. Inline fresh water filter.

FYI do not leave your valves open keep them closed and then open them when your tanks get at least 1/2 full

Once you get to the park, and see where the sewer connection is located, then you can pick up the system that will work for you. The Rhino system is a good one.

First thing I did when I got my RV was get a Rhino flex hose.
