- What you guys doing with your sewer hose that your so worried about how clean it is? I thought it was just used as a poop chute. Does it have some other purpose I didn't know about?

I just dump the black then grey, give it shake and jam it back into the pvc hose carrier on the bumper. done
I add a quick rinse of the stinky slinky, but yeah, that about covers it.
x2.
I do a more thorough cleaning when I return home. - austinjennaExplorer
I cannot imagine what that must smell like after a week or so in the sun. I doubt the stench will ever come out of that bumper carrier. After a while you will have to deal with built on gunk and rust.
Re-read my post, I didnt say I put it in the bumper, but the PVC hose carrier thats mounted to the top of my bumper so there is no gunk or rust. Honestly I never noticed any odor at all from it and I have been doing it like this for 15yrs. - drsteveExplorer

Works better than jamming the hose into the dump tank, but DO NOT watch the black tank dump first thing in the morning with a hangover!

That's far to simple for a bunch of people on here and those taking 20-30 min to dump some shiiiiit, but yeah that's what I do too. - austinjennaExplorerI just dump the black then grey, give it shake and jam it back into the pvc hose carrier on the bumper. done

I like to let mine drag along the road for a few miles to air out :)
I see many other RVers do the same thing judging by the number of sewer hoses I see along the interstate.
The sewer hose is one RV part I have never seen next to the highway.
Actually I am glad you mentioned this. Since I have a rope holding my sewer pipe under the bumper I should replace it. I have used the same piece of rope for 7 years and 80K miles. - Sillybugs2Explorer

Dump the black first then the grey and store it in my basement compartment. No extra flushes for me.
This except we put it in a black garbage bag before storing.
