Single 30# tank and Coleman stove, gas stove use?

Single 30# tank and Coleman grill stove, or the built in stove and oven, how long would it last? I have not been paying attention to my propane use, I don't even know how long my BBQ tank at home lasts... Mostly single person cooking breakfast of eggs and bacoor sausage, toast, and dinner of whatever

  • I might stop by when I smell the sausage , my wife will not let me have it !
  • We camp for 4 months in the summer. We have a Weber Q propane BBQ and a Coleman 2 burner stove hooked up to a 20# propane tank. Last year we ran the tank dry about 10 days before we left for the season.

We use the grill and stove a lot. I grill at least once a day, often times twice a day and use the stove frequently as well. We have several big cook outs over the summer with 20+ people. Last year we had a Masterforge portable propane grill that used a lot of propane. I think the 20# tank will last us the whole summer since the Weber Q does not burn as much propane as the Masterforge did.

  • Maybe a few months. We use our propane to run the furnace as well as cooking and when it's real cold outside one tank still seems to last a couple of weeks. I've also got a 30#r dedicated to my Coleman grill. In a month of grilling I barely made a dent in the tank.
