- Uncle_GrumpyExplorerThe two months we were there are electric was around $45. Texas is cheap compared to other areas. Stop by #19 if you go there.
- Uncle_GrumpyExplorerWe stayed at Ancient Oaks last year for 300 mo. and are going back. The 350 sites are concrete sites. Book now for them. Kind of close but not to bad. An old KOA. They do have a nice dog park that we like. It is well located to town and the management picks up your trash every morning. Lot's of things to do in the area.

While in Georgetown I was running AC's 24/7 last July, almost $200.00. 12-14 cents? KLW. 50 amps. I won't do Texas in the summer again! lol - tatestExplorer IIWhere in Texas?
It can be as little as $200 a month in the Piney Woods, or on th West Texas high plains, to $400-500 at ordinary snowbird parks in the Rio Grande Valley. Even more at the beach or on sheltered coastal waters, particularly at water resorts or golf resorts. There are some places with concentrations of snowbirds, like Rockport and the RGV, but I find them everywhere in Texas from Texarkana to El Paso, as well as neighboring parts of Arkansas, Louisiana and New Mexico.
Monthly rates may not include electricity, cable TV, or landline phone, if anybody still uses that. - iawoody2ExplorerTypically what does electricity run? I know it all depends on the weather too.
- DesertHawkExplorerTexas is a large place, from Texarkana, TX to Harlingen, TX it is 617 to almost 700 miles depending on your route. Most Winter Texans will be more likely be in the Rio Grande Valley. Harlingen/Brownsville area to Mission/McAllen area & places in between.
There are tons of RV Parks & Resorts & I am sure prices can very.
Might try going to RV Park Reviews of different cities, then checking park websites to see monthly or seasonal rates. Such as: Rates at one such.
