stopping for a single night - rest area or rv park?

Just getting into this and have a toy hauler with no slides - what's the general consensus on midway stops between point A & B. Is it worth the hassle to set up everything for a single night in an RV...

When I "vacation," I like to relax. If I am in THAT much of a hurry to get somewhere, I would rather just fly and stay in hotels. When I travel with my RV, I just include in the plans that I am only going to spend so much time on the road each day and get setup in a campground or RV park well before dinner so I have an evening in front of me.

But, to each their own!
