Agree in all aspects. Our floor plan is completely usable with the slide in. Even though I'm retired, I still do not like to pay for a campground when all I need is a place to sleep. Case in point, when we did our cross country adventure in 2014, The first stop after leaving home was Vicksburg, MS. I wanted to do the National Military Park there. It took two stops after leaving home in Central Virginia to get there. Those first two stops were at Walmarts along the way.
At Vicksburg, I was in a real campground.
This pattern was repeated all the way to Los Angeles. When in transit mode, I was in either a Walmart or truck stop. When I had arrived at a destination, I was at a Campground.

We find a rest stop, truck stop, or other free of charge area. It's an adventure to us to be able to do this. We're cautious and alert too, so we pick where stop. We have slides, but we bought our unit because the floor plan allows access to all kitchen appliances, the bed, shower, and toilet, with the slides in for situations such as this.
