stopping for a single night - rest area or rv park?

Just getting into this and have a toy hauler with no slides - what's the general consensus on midway stops between point A & B. Is it worth the hassle to set up everything for a single night in an RV...

When traveling with the 5ers, we always used a campground for a single night. That's what I missed about the motor home. For a single night in the motor home, we just stop where ever we happen to want to, ie. parking lot, roadside rest area, etc.


Just curious as to why you think that you cant do the same thing in your fiver?
