This door swings both ways. We have done our share of carpark overnighting but we have never done a truck stop. Too much noise. What with the rumblings of trucks coming & going, plus the reefer gennys kicking in & out a truck stop is not a very restful place.
We prefer the Wallys, the Cabellas & such but even there, parked at the remotest corner, there may be the late night truck rumbling in or very early departing to break the otherwise restful night.

If weather is an issue, hot or cold, we head for the nearest RV park, an option the truckers don't have.
