Well, that can be hard. Couple of suggestions you might have already considered:
1. leave dog with family here in the states ... kids, nephews, cousins, etc. RV in a storage lot (we have used a month-month lot on occasion) and off you go.
2. dog to a highly rated doggie hotel and RV to storage lot.
Other than that, I don't know what options there are.
