As stated, leave pup with a trusted friend/relative or doggie hotel and RV in storage. You don't say how long you will be gone each time. We always use a trusted doggie hotel-MIL would always offer to watch our dogs but we never trusted her to give them back! :B
P.S.-please no lecturing or horror stories about using a boarding facility. It's a tough enough decision without the "I never" crowd making it worse.
