I feel bad for the OP but it is his responsibility to research up front what he can tow. How many dealers have ever said "no we refuse to sell you that bigger more expensive unit because it would not be safe". One in a million maybe? And a couple of weeks before Christmas. The truck manufactures are just as bad. Tundra pulling the space shuttle, Titan pulling a 747. I just did a search of the question "can a f150 tow 11,000 pounds" First 20 returns all say yes with max tow package. That dealer just covered their butt even though they have no obligation to determine what he could tow and I bet they would not put it in writing either. I hope he winds up with a safe setup.
