We have kerosene lamps, like the ones you see in the movies of the old west in the barn!
Those little lamps throw a lot of light and add to the ambiance of the meal and or the place, I have three, incidentally they also work great in winter when it has been cold and snow up in the San Jasinto Mountains for a couple of Christmases, the lamps provide light and heat when boondocking.
There are two sizes we use the smaller ones, Walmart item and store in a plastick bin with the lamp oil, citronella flavor for moskitoes in summer.
