I disagree! What you will get here, in most cases, is members EXPERIENCES with different types of tires and NOT preconceived notions. I am not saying that all members agree on their recommendations however! :E :B
That said, I am also not sure I would trust a dealers recommendation over that of experieced users either.
My personal experiece has been excellent with the ST line of tires. I now run Maxxis M8808 ST tires on my own trailer and have used ST tires since 1997 with no problems whatsoever. Howver, I would have no hesitation to put LT tires on my trailer either.

Well said, Barney and you are right. Each one to their own on opinions. With that said, my RV dealer shop manager is a former tire man and well versed and experienced, so it does matter who they are and the knowledge they have. Any blanket statement should be expanded.
