The only issue I have with TST system is it takes 1 hour before the system will notify you of loss of communication with a sensor.
You have and may have and not known it.
If you have sensors on a 5th wheel note next time you go some where without the 5th wheel. When you get out of range of the 5th wheel sensors it will be 1 hour before the receiver will notify you of loss of communication. I have found you can clear the alarm by turning off the receiver then turning it back on.
Thus the problem. If you have a sensor that is marginal it may not be communicating. All it has to do is establish communication once each hour as the timer restarts each time communication is established.
Yep...I've experienced this several times by using the monitor in the toad (507 system) without deleting the motorhome sensors from the monitor. Drive out of range and the alarm sounds 1 hour later. Having said that, I've never experienced a failure of the TST tire transmitter....just the delayed alarm from driving out of range. It's a good system. I'd really like to know if the other manufacturers work the same.

You have missed my point.

You can pickup a nail and have a tire go flat in a couple minutes. If that were to happen during a time the sensor is not communicating the system was of no value.
The Pressure Pro system will alarm a loss of communication in 15 minutes. Still too long in my opinion.
I currently have the TST system but sure it is as good as the Pressure Pro I had previously.
