Staying in hotel rooms with a pair of teens will get old very quickly, IMHO. However, jumping in to RVing with no experience is a bad idea too.
Do you have friends or family with RV experience? Talk to them. Rent a trailer for a weekend trip to a nearby destination. Do you have a tow vehicle? Experience pulling a cargo trailer or a boat?
