trailer hitch on front of a motor home
Has any one mounted a trailer hitch on the front of their motor home? We are thinking about hauling our boat on our next weekend get away to the lake. and I'm wondering how I will be able to back it ...

I have put front mount hitches on the current truck and the one before it. I carry a Honda scooter or our bikes with the proper attachments.
If your MH is a Class C then you should be able to order a hitch from etrailer to fit.
If you have a Class A that doesn't have a truck/van frame then you may have to have something custom built.
There are quite a few people on here with hitches on the front of tow vehicles, and I think a few with them on motor homes.
I have seen people use front mount hitches with 2wheel drive trucks , so the traction tires stay on the dry part of the ramp.
Check the weight rating on the hitch to be sure your boat won't overload the hitch.
