Travelling from Texas to panama.

My wife and I are planning to move to Panama. We would like to pull our 5th wheel. What are the pros and cons of taking a trip like that??. We have only found one RV park near Panama City , to store our vehicle. The park is currently for sale. any ideas/suggestions??
We are concerned about safety issues in Mexico, Guatemala and El Salvador.

    You will be moving to a third world country and traveling through several countries torn with political instability, drug violence, and corrupt governments.
    If that does not give you pause, then you will be, as they say, fat, dumb, and happy.

    Maybe you could ask the moderator to move your post to the 'RVing in Mexico and South America' forum? You may get a better response.
