Need to know your intended route. What entrance will you be using? We made that trip in June and came In thru the south entrance. That enabled us to go thru Jackson Hole and Grand Tetons. Only one car ahead of us at entrance gate. When we left we went out the west gate. There were 3 or 4 lanes of vehicles 50 to 60 deep waiting to get in. Sept. should be similar to first week of June when we visited.
