I've had both a class c on an E450 chassis and now have a class a on an F53 and both have/had the heated mirror switch just above the adjustment switch, and they are/were marked as such.
I did have a toggle like that one on the class c, and it was an after-market switch for the fog lights. With that in mind, I am going with it being for some kind of after-market item.
