Video: RV types: Class A, B, C. What's the difference?

Absolutely great job.

As to why A, B, C: I have always thought that was the order they came in to being. Class A's go back to the 1950's, conversion vans (B's) were an outgrowth of the VW mini-buses of the 70's, then finally the class C's. Maybe not accurate, but it is an explanation.
