i'd suggest you buy used and don't worry about 'warranty' stuff.
but, if you buy new, get the best deal you can. warranty stuff can be taken care of in what ever state you are in. also note that where you locate you may not find a dealer near by so that needs to be considered too.
i happened to look at RV trader and there are 40 5th wheels listed in NC.
