You'll get great answers on Open Range. Also ask the manufacturer for list of dealers for where you may be going. We have an Open Range - full-time and volunteers since 2010 - Navy Retired - and have been able to get warranty work done wherever we were.
Having the 2 year warranty from Open Range helped.
Also the Open Range manufacturer is in Shipshewanna, Indiana and you could stop there on your PCS move to WA to NC to take care of warranty issues. You just have to make an appointment early. The forum do a Coming Home Rally in July to meet other open range owners and have work done.
