water pump isnt working
My water is coming out fine with a city water hose hook up but when I go to the water pump nothing.How can i tell if water pump is bad.I can tell its on its humming just not pumping water

Once the city water inlet is sealed with a threaded plug it's then irrelevant to pump operation. Check to see if the pump will achieve prime as I suggested earlier ... if it doesn't then there's a leak somewhere other than the city water inlet since it's been sealed.
So just stick the pump itself in a tub of water after disconnecting the inlet line ,turn on pump if t pumps water then pump is fine is that what your saying to try?
