Assuming you are used to camping in Europe, you might want to look into the differences and decide how you want to go about it.
Small B's & C's make a lot of sense over there where space is at a premium, public transit works well to get from campsites to attractions and there are often Stelleplatz and Aires (spelling?) walking distance to the center of most towns.
You can certainly do it in a smaller unit but it makes less sense on this side of the pond. Rest areas and shopping centers easily accomodate the biggest RV combinations in most areas. Campgrounds are typically well away from city centers and there usually isn't any transit to connect them.
There are exceptions to everything and as I said there are people who are quite happy in a smaller unit but most of the forces that push Europeans towards smaller units fade away here.
