John made a good point in his 16 August post. Many Class C rigs are configured with the main bed as a take-apart every morning and rebuild every night. It can be a real pain at the end of a long day's driving to have to rebuild the furniture!
The 26' Class C we started out with had a permanent "double" bed but it was so small, we couldn't both sleep in it. Our 32' Class A had a queen-size bed in a permanent bedroom at the back of the coach. The bedroom had a slide-out section that made enough room to walk around the bed.
