What do I need to know about electric awnings?

Please help me get caught up with the times we're in. Our new to us RV has an elec awning. Any problems with them becoming "undone" driving down the road? Anything else I should know about ot...

Most of the newer ones have adjustable pitch so you can lower one side. Mine, a Carefree, is a flat pitch with no adjustment. At some point I am going to upgrade to the adjustable
