I currently carry and use the small Weber charcoal grill and a Green Mountain Grills Davy Crockett (best thing since sliced bread IMHO). I started out with a propane grill and for a while I was carrying (and using) all three. The propane grill is now in storage.
Propane grills are quick, easy, and do a good job, but food cooked over charcoal or hickory wood pellets just tastes too good to bother using anything else. My freezer is full of baby backs, brats, and chops just waiting for their turn to go on the grill.
I really don't care which one is easiest or quickest. Life is too short.
