What experiences led you to be able to do RVing?

first, the DW came from a camping/RV'ing family, while i didn't.
i got the camping bug when we started tent camping then went to a couple of popups.
meanwhile, i became a firefighter/engineer and got used driving big long vehicles and backing them up in tight situations.
this gave me more confidence to move up to a HTT. we'll probably be moving up to a bigger TT or 5th wheel next year.
