I guess that your interests change with age.
* Started tent camping with our two young girls. Had a small tri hull ski boat with a 90HP outboard. We would head up the Pearl River in JXN MS every weekend for many years. We would set our 10X12 tent up on a deserted sand bar for up to two weeks at a time with dry ice and it was fantastic.
* Our girls grew up and we were out of camping for a number of years. Basketball, baseball, soccer etc.
* Later on we (DW & I)wanted to get back into camping but one thing changed. We no longer wanted to sleep on the ground which is something that we enjoyed doing for so many years. This meant that we HAD to have a travel trailer.
* Well then it was the truck issue. You know; bigger is better so we replaced the F 150 with a F 350. Well a few years down the road we said; since we have a 350 we need a fifth wheel. We loved the fifth wheel!!!
* A number of years later we said we had to get what we needed for retirement which was a gas burner motor home. We enjoyed that for nine years.
* Well we retired and started traveling. We knew that is what we wanted to do. If we were going to continue to do that we figured our 10 year old motor home would not last for ever. Yes I guess that we could have replaced it but why not go diesel. Where does it all end?
It is a natural progression that keeps growing. Again the real question is where does it end???????
