Neither DW or I had ever camped in anything but we liked the idea so in '69 we bought a new Layton 21' TT. Back then you could tow a 4500# trailer with a car so we got a WD hitch put on my new Lincoln and were off. My parents liked the idea so they got a popup for themselves. Before that they borrowed my Layton and rolled it over on 401 in Ontario. We had a Hi-Lo, pop-up, and then 2 Cs and 2 As. Now at 75 & 78 we still enjoy the MH. Now I use a walker for hookups but we still get there. I had driven school buses from age 21 so it was nothing to have a TT or MH. We even threw in a couple of trailerable boats over the years.
