Hi,
I also have a 10' hose and a 25' hose. I try to use the 10' most of the time to avoid time in winding up something larger when I am leaving. Sometimes I get out my 50' if I wanted to rinse off the car or something.
Once while parked in a county campground, with no water to the sites, I bought 5 or 6 of the 50' hoses, and stretched them out to the nearest water filler that was between some of the camping sites, but far enough away to prevent anyone from hooking up their RV to them. I think a neighbor had to add his two 25' hoses to reach his RV as well, then he thanked me by draining my grey tank into a 25 gallon portable tank that he carried in the back of his truck. I would rather drive to the dump station and back, and empty all the tanks at once. (I have electric leveling jacks, so moving is really easy!)
Good luck,
Fred.
