What fresh water hose?
Looking at a couple of different hoses, What brand do you recommend? Teknor Apex 8602-25 NeverKink 5/8" X 25' RV and Marine Hose or Camco 22853 Premium Drinking Water Hose (5/8"ID x 50') Thanks

It's all about the connectors.
Years ago you bought a fresh water hose and it lasted for years.
Not anymore. The connectors are poorly attached, cheap metal and many leak right out of the box. While on the road last year I bought 3 of them that leaked at the connection.
IMHO buy a good one. I finally went to a Marine Boat supply store and bought a good quality one there.
