- olygeneExplorerOnce again, mystery solved.
- Dutch_12078Explorer IIIAs said, the Thetford dispenser bases:
- wa8yxmExplorer IIISomeone said "next to the knife holder no where near the sink"
The O/P said they are on the kitchen counter (which is where I'd park a knife holder if it were not attached to the wall behind said counter)
I guarantee that is near the Kitchen Sink.. Within 3 feet likely 1 foot. - dodge_guyExplorer IIYep, soap dispenser bottle holders. Our old Award TT had them. I just filled them with regular hand soap and dish soap. however mine were mounted behind the sink.
- stro1965Explorersoap dispenser bottles
- mjbenedictExplorerI guarantee they are thetford bases for those soap dispensers. They also have sanitizer dispensers so that's why they probably had two. I had those exact bases and that is what they're for.
The bottom of the bottles have a nipple that snaps in those holders. Not sure if thetford still makes them but you can find on eBay. That's where I got the picture from. - vipalaskaExplorerThanks for all of the input. I bought this RV from a bloke named Tony from Australia and he is down-under by now. A good chap, but he was not the original owner either so he probably doesn't know anyway. I am leaning towards those of you that suggested a base for an appliance of some sort. Seems like overkill for soap dispensers, since they are drilled and mounted into the countertop. Again, thanks for all your help.
- phillygExplorer IITotally guessing here, but nothing that originated with the RV, and possibly bases for some previous owners' kitchen devices.
- NaioExplorer IIMaybe they put something else in the pump bottles? Olive oil and canola, for example? Or soy sauce and rice vinegar?
