So a Silverado 2500HD sounds like the right choice. 6.0L
You are likely going to be north of 12k by the time it's all loaded and ready to go.
That puts you beyond the 1/2 ton truck capability.
A 3/4 ton will likely work but just saying 3/4 ton doesn't tell you enough. You need to know the year, cab style, rear end, engine, etc... Each combination has it's own rating. Year in particular can have a pretty big impact with newer trucks having higher ratings.
