What truck is needed to tow TT weighing 10k lbs.

I just put down a deposit on Jayco 32BHDS and in the usual style of putting the cart before the horse...I know neee to find a truck that can tow this 10k lbs beast Looking for a used truck but just...

Buy the most capable truck you can afford. Sooner or later you will want a bigger trailer.


I've done both. Diesel is nice but not needed in the size range the OP is asking about. Unless he's going to do a lot of miles, there isn't a cost savings to justify it.
