That seems like an okay combo. I'll echo some of the other posts, if possible I would look for a newer model with a 6 speed transmission.
Will this truck be a daily driver as well? If so you will like the newer 6 speed transmissions for fuel economy when unloaded and they will have closer gear ratios when pulling. You will be north of 9000lbs when loaded to camp and you will have a lot more weight in the truck than you think right now. Just take it slow, and enjoy the trip.
I pull a 10,350lb 38ft TT and it's not that difficult. Just give yourself space and plan your stops. With a TT that size you are going to have issues at times getting fuel at smaller stations. I have a Diesel and normally fill up with the rigs at the larger fuel stations, but I have stopped ata few tight small town stations that required the wife to get out and watch the trailer.
