The V10 is used in a lot of gas motorhomes, both class A's and (in a somewhat different variant) class C's. It's a good reliable engine, not always the most fuel efficient, and produces power at relatively high rpm's which some people don't care for. Being a normally aspirated engine, it will lose more power at high elevations than a turbocharged engine, which includes virtually all modern diesel engines. At any rate, it certainly would be quite able to get you wherever you need or want to go.
As for the towing and payload capacity of that particular truck, I know just about nothing offhand.
