I towed a similar Jayco 30,000+ with a F250SD 7.3 and it handled well. The longer the wheel base the more stable, Standard cab, extended cabs, & crew cabs. I like long beds no issues with trailers hitting the back of the cab or sliding hitches. Plus with the long bed I can put in full sheets of plywood or drywall. IMHO any 3/4 ton setup for towing will handle the 10K. Diesel will pull better but fuel costs more, how much you tow might be the determining factor. My preference is diesel for all towing (I have a gasser for daily use)
Now I'll wait for all the you need 1 ton, duelly, Bilsten Shocks, air bags, etc.
