One thing I see on this board all the time is posters asking about a certain model of RV or just general floor plan questions. I thought we experienced campers could list some things we have found out...

It took us 15 years to find a travel trailer that had slides and when the slides were IN, the camper was still 100% functional ... everything inside functional. This is one reason why our first 2 campers had no slides and it took so long to finally nail the 3rd one that did!
Best advise: Don't just grab the first camper that looks shiny. Find the one that is truly RIGHT for you. It might take time, but keep looking and don't settle for anything, just so you can say you bought a new one.
Also ... whatever type of camper you get impresses NO ONE.... Truly .... NO ONE cares what you get. So get the one that suits YOUR needs and tell the mother-in-laws of this world to go get their own camper if they keep fighting you with their input!
