- EmptypocketsExplorerAfter downsizing from a 31 foot 5th wheel with two slides to an 18 foot TT with one slide we named it "The Little One"
- copeland343ExplorerWe keep ours simple the truck is named Truck, the fifth wheel is named Camper and wife's Expedition is named Car. All you have to say to the dogs is Camper, Truck or Car and they go to the correct vehicle and door. They have been through three RV's knowing it as Camper. Works for us.
- punomaticExplorerOur first RV was a TT, which we dubbed "The Rolling Ritz" after the Ritz Carlton hotel.
Our second was a 1988 Hawkins Motor Coach. We named her "Sadie" after Sadie Hawkins in Al Capp's "Lil Abner" cartoon strip.
Our current RV is a TC, which we call "Topper," because it sits on top of our red Ford F350 (dubbed Red Ryder) and also because we love old movies, among them the Topper series including "Topper Takes a Trip." That's the name of our travel blog.
Regarding names, I used to own sailboats. When I bought a 40' Passport sailboat I spent a lot of time thinking about names for the boat and the dinghy. People often connect the names of the boat and the dinghy. One guy in my circle of boating friends named his boat "Good Vibrations." His dinghy was "Jiggles." Someone suggested I name my boat "Senility" and call the dinghy "What Dinghy?" I passed on that idea. - rjf7gExplorerWe call our park trailer "The Teacher's Lounge."
- AtleeExplorer IIOZ. Nickname for Australia. The TT is a Koala, with Koala Bear decals. The license plate is DNUNDER.

- Matt_ColieExplorer IIThis is out Third true RV.
Her name is Chaumière (Say Show Me Air). It is a French word for a cottage - typically thatched roof. It is also not bad that we are sailors and still in that community as well. But, I have been a waterman all my life.
The first RV came to me from my father and was already named.
The second (a Cayo Motorvator) was never named past the Cayo and didn't stay long.
This is our third and shortly after we got it and made our way into the community of other owners, I recognized it as a being very much like any watermen community that I would know. So, it is fitting that she should have a name - too. As DW was already calling her the cottage, it fit.
Though we often name vehicles just as all boats have names (or should), but a lot of that was a convenience and to clear confusion. "You take the white diesel Rabbit and I'll take the silver gas Rabbit and Chris can drive the older minivan." or "You take Rachel and I'll get Reggy and Chris can have Carolyn."
Matt - We_Cant_WaitExplorerOurs is called "JOURNEY TO INSANITY". Got it's name when we were towing our TT up to the dealer to trade in on our 2012 Winnebago Journey. We were questioning our sanity for getting this big a MH 4 years before we'd planned on being Full Timers.
- tgr2975ExplorerMy DW named our first rv Bessy. A 87 Coachman Class C.
My DD named the next 2. 2002 Sunline TT was Spirit and our 2008 Sunnybrook 5 error was Beauty. She nicknamed my truck beast. My DD was a Disney fan.
My 2011 Allegro does not have a name yet. We just haven't found anything that fits yet.
