Where do I get my drivers license?

If you've been living in a motorhome at an RV park in Colorado and your drivers license is ready to expire. Which state should you get the license from if you no longer live in the original state of origin? Colorado says you must get a Colorado license after living there 30 days. Does that apply to a motorhome in an RV park?

  • what address are you using for your banking, insurance, income tax, voting? Best bet is to pick one and stick with it. Problems can arise when you start picking and choosing a different address for different purposes. Read more about it at Escapees.com - look for domicile.

All I know is what ever vehicle and trailer I am pulling down the road I should have the same state drivers license. This is a hugh red flag for DPS folks.

How this works with you setting up residence in different multiple places has got to be a big problem...

  • Just pick a state. An Rv in a park may or may not considered your residence. It can if you want it to be. Some people do and some don't. You pick.
  • We'd have a lot more good drivers if they would use the Cracker Jack box!
  • I would say out of a Cracker Jacks box. Seems that's where a lot of people on the road got thiers. :)
